The comparison between combination of candesartan-amlodipine and candesartan-furosemide on blood pressure in hypertensive patients with chronic kidney disease

Chronic renal disease is significantly increased by hypertension. Controlling blood pressure critical in hypertensive individuals. Patients who have good (BP) control can reduce morbidity and mortality. This study aimed to compare reduction of candesartan-amlodipine with the candesartan-furosemide combination patients chronic disease. The was conducted a cohort design. Retrieval medical record data carried out prospectively during period February-April 2019. assessed changes mean systolic diastolic analyzed statistically SPSS program. A total 54 met inclusion criteria, consisting 27 receiving therapy. results sociodemographic characteristics were male 30 (55.6%), age 56-65 years 24 (44.4%), senior high school education level 31 (57.4%). Candesartan-amlodipine combinations both decreased patients. However, result statistical analysis revealed that there no significant difference decline. (p> 0.05) between two combinations.
